my heart aches: {Petty Officer Tumilson and his beloved canine Hawkeye}

I am balling right now...

Full on sobbing...

I can barely see through the teardrops stained on my glasses

"This photo says it all. During Navy Seal Jon Tumilson's funeral, his trusted canine friend Hawkeye guarded him one last time."

My heart aches right now.

When I saw this picture on facebook I broke down.

I couldn't stop crying.

Not just a few tears, full on sobs, and body shaking crying. {My beloved dachshund Khloe ran into my room to see why I was crying, more proof to the love of a canine for it's owner.}

I can't find words to express how I am feeling.

Every time I look at the pictures the tears just start falling.

Tumilson was among the 30 Americans and eight Afghans who died Aug. 6 when a rocket-propelled grenade downed their Chinook helicopter. It was one of the deadliest attacks on U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

My heart aches for the families and loved ones {canines included} who have lost their sailors/soldiers/marines/airmen.

Petty Officer Tumilson is a Hero.

He died doing what he loved, defending his country.

Such an honorable man.
Please say a prayer tonight as you drive home tonight.

Pray for every military service member who is out on the front lines continuing to defend our freedom and give freedom to others.

My request is that we never ever forget those who have sacrificed their lives to allow us to live in the land of the free.

I can't even look at that without tears and pure heartbreak. Such a moving picture. Truly makes you think about our military and the sacrifices they make for our freedom.

A moving photo commentary on love, and loyalty - whether to country, friend, or master. May God bless us all with this much devotion.
