it's the little things {happiness for the week}

Last week Lindsay {funny, two of the linky parties I do are by gals named Lindsey/Lindsay, hehe} started a blog hop called "It's the little things".

Aisle to Aloha

I was all set to do a post last friday but the later part of the day kinda go me in a funk "it was...a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day." {the first part of the day was great, but after that, bleh}
{I am working on trying to share in a post soon, but I'm not sure I'm ready}

So here I am this week, all ready to share with you my week of little things that make me smile

cupcakes!

I bought these as an end of the week treat for the hubs
{he works M-Th, though he ends up going in most fridays, hello JOE NAVY!}

My fur baby Khloe!

she is always so loveable and ready to cuddle.

Sunset walks along the water with my wonderful husband and fur baby.

The husband making me a S'mores on the stove, yummy!!

Watching some Michigan football and being goofy!

Spending Saturday morning on our patio drinking coffee and reading blogs
 {with the hubs and furbaby, of course!}

Using simple ball jars from the thrift store as a candle holder.

This is my current coffee table center piece.

There you have it folks! The things this week that are so small yet made such a big impact on my happiness!

I'm also linking up with Jeannett from life rearranged for

Love the cupcakes, they look AMAZING! Any chance you could pass the recipe on to a fellow military wife?
