skirts, dress and simply livly necklaces

Happy hump day friends!

The weather is finally starting to warm up here. {I live just north of Los Angeles and I feel like our weather has been less than spectacular for spring and CA.}

A few weeks ago I got a fantastic package in the mail, 3 necklaces I picked out from Simply Livly. To say that I love them would be an understatement. They make me so happy. I wear one almost every day. I got 3 totally different styles and love the variety of outfits I can wear with them all. They are so unique and I love that Pam uses a jersey material for the necklaces.

This outfit was worn a few fridays ago when I spent the day getting our move all taken care of. After hours of planning I stopped by my friend Tobi's house where I sat for a few hours and chatted until we decided to head to Cafe Rio with the kiddos for some yummy mexican food.

I love this button up shirt tied at the waist over a strapless dress.

I threw this outfit together to have lunch with Angel from simply.lovely.things. I love that this necklace has a cluster of brass leaves at the end. totally unexpected and adds a bit of edge to the bright playful coral beads.

I wore this thursday for a fro yo date with Tobi and Wes. I ran a bunch of errands after. I loved the print of this maxi dress so much.

I wore this on friday for a day of shopping at the mall and running a few errands. I threw this together quickly just so I could get out the door and I absolutly love the look, casual yet cute and put together. I think I might we my cognac steve madden sandals next time.

I have been adding new pieces to my wardrobe slowly but surely since about 80% of my closet doesn't fit me. I am toying with bringing some of my favorite pieces to my tailor to have them taken it. I figure spending $10-$15 each on a few pieces is cheaper than going out and buying new ones. Only for the things I absolutely love.
